There are many news channels that extensively cover sector -wise news. After a certain point, one wishes to follow one concrete news source instead of a host of Ezines. ‘Retail Times’, a PGDM Retail student initiative does just that.
What started as an idea among three students from the PGDM – Retail Management for regular circulation of retail-specific news on one channel with the peers, has now taken the form of an email newsletter.
Recently launched on WeSchool campus is “Retail Times” a fortnightly E-newsletter for the students in retail management at WeSchool. It covers current news, new product launches and market trends in the retail sector.
The student-run editorial at Retail Times has designed content which is quirky and crisp as compared to content in pink financial newspapers.
There are sections like ‘Do WE know?’, ‘Retail word of the week’ and quizzes & trivia which make reading fun and interesting.
The forthcoming edition of Retail Times will publish columns like WE speak – student articles and industry expert viewpoints, thereby adding a perspective from the marketers in retail.
