Students come from different backgrounds, diverse thoughts and geographical locations. It is important to put them on a level playing field and familiarise them with a new environment. The objective of the program is to inculcate in them the ethos of the institute with broader purpose.

On 27th June 2019, #NEEV2019 Bengaluru begun with great zeal, welcoming #newbatch in presence of Chief Guest – Dr. Kalpana Gopalan, IAS, Addtl. Chief Secretary, Youth Empowerment & Sports & S.P. Mandali’s WeSchool Leadership. The theme for our Bengaluru campus is DSIGN 5.0, a three-week long foundation program for first year PGDM 19-21 batch students entering the B-School

The theme signifies five forces that drive the growth of an organisation in this VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity) world are digitalisation, sustainability, innovation, global perspective, new age technologies like machine learning and artificial intelligence. Therefore, undoubtedly, the future of MBA also revolves around these five forces. This year our foundation program presents DSIGN 5.0.

In order to achieve the objectives of the program, students are engaged in various activities throughout the day from analysing the newspaper to intensive foundation courses to meeting requirements of rigorous management education.  An inspired talk series has bright minds from the industry addressing our students. These series will echo the five forces associated with the theme DSIGN 5.0.

To reinforce the learning gained during classroom sessions, live discussions on the contemporary management topics from the panel of experts, workshops etc. are also conducted.
