288 students from all over India compete in the 36 hours non-stop #SmartIndiaHackathon2018 today, 30 March and on Saturday, 31 March on WeSchool campus, Mumbai

S.P. Mandali’s Prin L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research (WeSchool), Mumbai, is proud to collaborate as the only nodal centre in Mumbai for the Smart India Hackathon 2018, Software Edition on Friday, 30 March and Saturday, 31 March 2018 on WeSchool campus. Each student group will apply their technical knowledge to solve a problem statement and develop software solutions for improving governance and quality of life. The problem statements would be given by Ministry of Commerce and Industry and Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution.

The hackathon will see promising and young innovators proposing actionable software solutions and adding a fresh perspective to a host of initiatives benefiting the public, startups etc. The initiative aims to provide a chance to youngistans to help contribute innovative solutions that will pave way for progress in India.

A total number of 48 student groups will compete in the nationwide, Smart India Hackathon at Welingkar Institute of Management (WeSchool), Mumbai.
