World Environment Day is celebrated worldwide every year on 5th June. The celebration of this day has created a global platform to raise awareness and call for sustained and transformative action against global warming and climate change.
The All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) encourages education institutions to include environmental conservation in their curriculum. Future managers must be sensitized to the issues facing the planet, and how to consciously make business decisions that preserve, protect, and restore its natural ecosystem.
In alignment with our core value “We Link and Care” and our commitment to United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, WeSchool’s Institution Innovation Council (IIC) celebrated World Environment Day and month-long activities for students, staff and even families of our staff. By doing this, our endeavour is to raise awareness among all age groups, and inculcate sustainable behaviours and lifestyle, which are in harmony with nature.
WeSchool has also created a Green Team, to initiate, plan and execute activities and projects for a greener, cleaner campus, in alignment with regulatory and national agendas.
Activities conducted on World Environment Day & through the month of June.
In line with the theme of the day, faculty and staff were encouraged to wear green color attire.
